Am officially terrible at keeping up with this thing. In truth, I'm only uploading this one because the last few vector things I linked on my website were up here and I like to pretend I'm consistant, I'm not expecting comments as I never seem to give them anymore XD.
That said, I do like to talk too much about these things. I started this one ages ago, back near the beginning of June, and I'd done the face and got all excited because I really liked the shading, then did the eyes and mouth and was a little bummed that the eyes didn't really work (I've tried fixing them since and they're a lot better now but still not fantastic, good enough to keep me happy though). Then I needed to give her hair. I hate vectoring hair, I really do. I suck at it. I started outlining it and adding strands here and there, then quietly lost the will to live and gave up with her. I always intended to finish her sometime as I was so proud of what I had managed, it's just taken me a while before I got there. Still, it beat the Amber vecor which is still only half done with little or no prospect of ever being finished. The hair doesn't really fit with the style of the rest of it because it doesn't look remotely realistic, and the eyes look too dramatic for the softness of the rest of it, but I don't care. I can put up with both of those, because this is probably about the best vectory thing I've done so far.
I don't know how long it took me because I can't remember how long I spent on it the first time round. A good few hours though. It's not a true vector, no, I have no idea how you do them properly XD.

This would be more exciting if I had something interesting to say.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
